It is probably the most memorable place among the various places in the drama for most of the viewers. This is the place where Eun Tak first accidentally summons Kim Shin in the first episode. The place became popular after its appearance in the drama. You may also have fun taking photos of a scene reenactment from the drama. Jumunjin Sand Arrester was built to protect the coastline from the effects of erosion and long shore drift.

The alley appears in episode six as a background scene when Kim Shin and Eun Tak go for a walk. The Secondhand Bookstore Alley in Baedari is the only secondhand bookstore in Incheon. Back in the day when everything was rare and needed, scholars in the 1960s and 1970s who were hungry for knowledge could satisfy their hunger for knowledge here. Hanmi Secondhand bookstore has been selling books for cheap price since 1955.

This is the place where Kin Shin and high school student Eun Tak has their first encounter. Deoksugung Palace Stone-wall Road was Korea’s first successful attempt at creating a comprehensive urban space where both people and nature can coexist. The road was built using eco-friendly materials and the utmost precautions were taken to ensure pedestrian safety. The romantic stone-wall road is an ideal date spot for couples to stroll along and also makes for an excellent cultural walk being located near Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul Museum of History, and important historical complexes.

A secret hideout for Kim Shin, where Kim Shin and and Eun Tak had their first kiss. Located in Gochang county, this is the large-scale buckwheat farm of 561,983m² which is the nation’s largest buckwheat field. From late summer to early autumn, the field is filled with snow-white buckwheat flowers that create a seemingly endless, breathtaking view.

Naju Image Theme Park is a large-scale film set, a place where many scenes are filmed for the time when Kim Shin was a general in the olden times. The place is famous filming site for dramas or movies with traditional background. It is a well-known fact that actors, actresses and crew who were filming in Jeju would make a five-hour boat trip to Naju to shoot here. During filming, Japanese fans came to Naju to observe from a distance.

This is the place where Kim Shin lives. Later on, the Grim Reaper and Eun Tak also move in. The building was built between 1911 and 1912 in symmetrical French Renaissance style. It is currently a corporate office building of Duksung Women’s University. It can only be accessed through the university’s main entrance. Access to the building is limited.

In episode 10, this is the place where Kim shin and Grim Reaper walked through a tunnel carrying spring onions. The tunnel has been repainted, so it may not look the same as the one filmed in the drama.

In episode nine, Eun Tak works here as a part-time job. The Mt. Balwangsan Cable Car which Eun Tak was shown riding is Asia’s longest course of 7.4km, offering a breathtaking view of Mt. Balwangsan. Yongpyong Resort has an annual average snowfall of 250cm, perfect for a great ski resort. It was Korea’s first ski resort, opened in 1975 to develop Korean winter sports and resort culture.

Snow-covered bridge is where Kim Shin followed Eun Tak slowly from behind in episode nine, when Eun Tak left Kim Shin’s place and started working at the ski resort for part-time job. Also, the fir forest which stretches for about 1km in length from Iljumun Gate to Woljeongsa Temple was where Kim Shin confessed his feelings for Eun Tak. Woljeongsa Temple is located in a forested valley east of Odaesan Mountain. Near the first gate, Iljumun Gate, you will find Haetalgyo Bridge.
