Changdeokgung Palace: Changdeokgung Palace was the second royal villa built following the construction of Gyeongbukgung Palace in 1405. It was the principal palace for many kings of the Joseon Dynasty, and is the most well-preserved of the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. Changdeokgung Palace was also recognized as a World Cultural Heritage site by the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Committee.
Jongno-gu & Ikseon-dong Street: Jongno-gu Area was one of the famous regions in Gay community in Korea. This was alienated area in the past time and Gay people needed some places to enjoy their culture freely because Korea was a sexually conservative society. That is why this area became a kind of meca for Gay People. Nowadays, Ikseon-dong is gaining attention as a new attraction in Seoul for heterosexual as well. It only recently started to become a trend as young artists and entrepreneurs began to open businesses like cafes, restaurants, and handicraft shops with unique concepts and designs.

Events & Performances in the festival: More than 80 booths will be open with various programs. Also, there will be welcome performances to greet everyone participating in the SQCF. Why not warm up together with the performers before the parade?
Parade in the festival: With some parade cars and automobile team ‘Queer Riders’, show LGBT’s pride as gender minorities in the middle of Seoul! It doesn’t matter what your sexual identity is. Just enjoy it and let’s color the main street of Seoul with rainbow!
