Dorasan Station

Dorasan Station, a railway station on the Gyeongui Line, is the northernmost stop on South Korea’s railway line. Located 56 kilometers from Seoul and 205 kilometers from Pyeongyang, the station was opened as a tourist attraction on April 4, 2002 right before the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.

Dorasan station can be reached by getting on the Gyeongui Line from Seoul Station. After presenting your identification at Imjingang Station, you can get on a train bound for Dorasan Station. Since it is the northernmost part of South Korea, Dorasan Station will also play the role of customs and immigration for visitors entering South Korea through the station when the Gyeongui Line Railroad connection is completed.

Since this area is within the Civilian Control Zone (CCZ), visitors and tourists will only be granted access after presenting a valid identification document at Imjingang Station.

DMZ Theater & Exhibition Hall

Gubongdo Nakjo Observatory

The Gubongdo Observation Deck is the best place to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the west coast and the unexplored view of Daebudo Island. There is a structure called ‘Bringing the Sunset to the Heart’ in the form of a sunset and sunset, and the sunset seen between a circular belt and a sunset-shaped structure is famous for being beautiful.

Itaewon Mosque

The Seoul Central Mosque was established to be a place to worship for Muslims in Korea as well as to educate the larger public about Islam and Islamic cultures. The first floor of the mosque houses the Korea Muslim Federation office and a meeting room. On the second floor is the men’s musalla (prayer hall), and on the third floor is the women’s musalla (prayer hall). The mosque is open to worshippers and visitors.

Seohakdong Art Village

The rising star in Jeonju’s art and culure scene is ‘Seohakdong Art Village (Seohakdong Yesulchon)’. The village is not only home to many local artists, but also boasts the exhibitions, experiences, and urban sceneries that cannot be found elsewhere. The unique galleries of Seohakdong Art Village are locals’ favorite places. Seohakdong district was considered one of the more underdeveloped and poorer neighborhoods in Jeonju. However, since 2010, local painters, musicians, and other artists started opening studios in the district. Soon, a community of artists and art enthusiasts started to flourish.

Daepohang Fish Market

Daepohang Fish Market is a famous sea food market which is located in Daepo-dong. Here you can find many stalls those are selling a variety of seafood. The specialty of the market is that you can get freshly prepared dishes. It offers both raw food and cooking options to the visitors. Jeju Herb Dongsan (Herb Garden)

Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival

The annual Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival celebrates the full blossoms of spring  in the backdrop of the Han River at Yeouido Park. When Seoulites think of spring flowers, they think of cherry blossoms, and when they  think of cherry blossoms, they think endearingly of this annual festival at Yeouido Park.
 

More than 1,600 yedonsis (Yoshino cherry) trees of Jeju origin will bloom along the Han River basked in spring frangrances, in addition to nearly 90,000 flowers including azaleas, forsythias and spireas.

Visitors may follow the cherry trees along the circular Yunjung-ro (road), but the best place to enjoy the blossoms is from the southern edge of Yeouido Park to the KBS Annex Building.

Songdo G Tower Observatory

G-Tower one of the landmark buildings in Songdo. Inside, are banks, restaurants, post office, and office buildings. It is known for its unique architecture. There is a Sky Garden which is open to visitors in the day. Here you will be able to see Songdo in its entirety. There is also a bicycle rental service for free.
