2. Mt. Halla
Eoseungsaenak course trekking: 60 Min
Mt.Halla: The Eoseungsaenak trekking course starts from National Park Visitor Center and ends at Eoseungtaeng-oreum Summit. The trail is 1.3km long and a one-way trip takes 30 minutes. Eoseungsaengak is an oreum (parasitic cone volcano) for hikers who want to go for an easy stroll. On a clear day, Chuja Island, Biyang Island, Seongsan-Ilchulbong and Jeju Island’s east oreums can be seen. At the summit, there still remain some Tochikas, which were military facilities used by the Japanese during the occupation of Korea.

JEJU is a MUST VISIT if you’re going to Korea! Don’t skip it! Just as important as Seoul to me if not more!

I had never seen a volcanic island before, it’s really worth experiencing! We had a ton of fun, the views are very impressive and the climate is great although very humid. The tour was nicely organised and put together. So many things in only a day.
