Founded in 2004, Chung Young Yang Embroidery Museum was created to enhance public awareness towards embroidery art with ample facilities including exhibition hall, library, conservation center, learning center, embroidery study room, education and research rooms.
The Museum wants to highlight the importance and the meaning of embroidery as an evolving form of art through the constant changes in technology, social and cultural environment.
Moreover, the museum wants to provides lessons in embroidery and other textile arts that could be enjoyed by many people.
